Someday I’ll finagle a way to get myself in the picture. My 3 year old is not so adept at photography just yet. Ah, Friday… the beginning of the toughest 2.5 days of the week for a mom. So many tempers, so little space to spread them out. Better tank up before chaos commences.

Hey, I’m new to this forum so I’m really sorry to have to come out guns blazing… but check out this masterpiece de cheat!

Perfect doughy bready crust, half covered in breaded and fried eggplant half peperoni and basil and all smothered in cheese… If god cheats, this is probably what she goes for!

Eggs, Bacon, and a shit ton of cheese pressed between cuban bread… With a Cafe con leche… EFF YES!

5 scoops of delicious Michigan Blue Moon…mmmmm.

I hate to be such a hater here, but a place known for their dumplings should probably make better dumplings. These guys were pretty poorly put together and disappointing flavor-wise. Don’t even get me started on the soup dumplings.

My advice: don’t believe the hype and just go to Din Tai Fung.

Had my second Cheat Day of the new year this past Sunday, first one of the year with my mainest Cheat Day cohort Andy Ross, and he decides to take his Cheat Day on a Tuesday? I know right, what the crunk? Anyway, as we all know, Cheat Day waits for no one so I just had to get into this Blastin’ Brownie Sundae from some diner in Orlando while Andy stood by and watched me devour the whole thing. Whipped Cream, vanilla ice cream, hot caramel sauce, and like five brownies. It went down in me like a led zepplin. But I held it down in the end. Don’t think my lactose intolerance didn’t act up a little bit, but small price to pay for this Cheat Day indulgence. Send it Cheat Day. Love ya like a sis. 2012’s looking good. Get with me Aross! Xo.
